A high-precision transmission component manufacturing project with a total investment of 120 million RMB has officially signed to settle in Chuzhou Economic Development Zone. The factory mainly focuses on new energy motor shafts and electric gearbox shafts for passenger EVs and electric two-wheelers.
Covering an area of 25 mu, the smart workshop will deploy over 200 sets of CNC cold extrusion production lines. After full operation, the base can produce 10 million sets of lightweight drive shafts every year.
Adopting advanced cold extrusion forming technology, the enterprise keeps the product defect rate below 0.01%, greatly improving tensile strength and dimensional consistency compared with conventional cutting processing.
Industry data shows that the domestic new energy motor shaft market will grow by over 45% year-on-year in 2026. Lightweight hollow high-speed motor shafts have become the core R&D direction for most shaft manufacturers in auto parts clusters.
